Too Much Competition?
So you have chosen a niche that you really believe in and so has everybody else or so it seems. Competition is fierce everywhere you turn you see it, hearing about their great service or product when you are trying to market yours.
Get the edge on other businesses by being unique. As incredible as it sounds study the competition and find out what it is that makes them better. Compare that company to your company. Now let's be unique what does your company offer that theirs does not offer. Find something that you can expound upon in depth about what your company is offering.
That is your leverage this different thing such as a rewards program or no service charge every month. Maybe your company is offering some free service or product for first come buyers or something.
What ever it is find a way to bring it to the forefront of your advertising or mention it to your new prospects.
Explore the internet and study about marketing, direct sales, attraction marketing and whatever it is that you do daily to run your business. You do not have to incorporate every business model into your business but it is good to have options that you can learn about. One thing though there is enough information about these topics and a vast knowledge base to be found on the internet to keep you busy reading and learning about them, but be warned the internet is designed to sell sell sell. So you will be exposed to many offers during your searches. I am not saying not to take these offers seriously just that you can learn about various topics by researching them thoroughly without having to buy the products that may be advertised.
One rule of thumb when researching use as many search terms pertaining to that subject as possible. You may want to learn about how to make spreadsheets so search for Office Procedures, Gathering data, spreadsheet tutorials, as you can see the list goes on and on. That is what is great about the internet. So much information that it will keep you informed, enlightened and intertained endlessly.
Find your style of selling or recruiting that best suits you and improve upon it daily by learning as much as possible about it. Example is you show presentations to people. Well first you have got to get them to see the presentation. Too many times we give up the first time that they say no I don't think I can do that. So your task is to once again go to the internet and research how to be persuasive when talking to others. Research how to talk with others. Brush up on your communication skills and become focused on the information that you are trying to present to the prospect.
One thing to remember about this one recruitment style of showing presentations is this. The less you say about the company product etc. the better off you will become. You will actually make more money by letting the presentation itself sell or convince the person to sign up with you.
Just remember Less Means More. Typically this is simply because the information may be a bit technical and it will only confuse the person that you are trying to get to look at the presentation.
So to sum it all up today we are going to be unique, do research, and say as little as possible about our product or company to someone whom we want to show a presentation to.
