New Year's Resolutions For Your Business!

Resolutions Don't Come Easy!
If you have dreaded the new year it may be those resolutions that you always make that get you to feeling down.  You are always vowing to do something different, better, with new fortitude, etc.
It is time that we stopped beating ourselves up and get on with a new game plan to setting our new year's resolutions.  Reflect really reflect on the past year what actually worked and what didn't work in getting optimum performance out of your business.  Did you meet your goals regularly. That is right regularly.  We should regularly evaluate whether our goals are being met and if not incorporate a new strategy into our game plan.  Ask yourself if you are really following through on your goals.  There are little steps in each goal that have to be worked out for the game plan to work out successfully.  The key is to implement all of these steps continually which means discipline and fortitude.  Yes discipline is needed in order to carry out all of the game plan.  Fortitude is needed to carry  you through times of adversity when meeting newer and greater challenges. 
Summarizing these resolutions You need to first reflect upon the past.  Did you set goals? Did you follow through on the game plans to reach your goals?  What could you have done better to reach your goals?  Reflect research and incorporate this new information into your New Year's Resolutions.  May you have a Happy New Year, and prosper in your business is 2015.

We all have a vehicle, whether it is a traditional job, direct sales or small business that we run that is supposed to take us to where we can meet our goals.  Goals of making sure our kids get educated, new car, home and so on and so on until retirement.
Perhaps you reevaluate your position in life from time to time and do an analysis of whether you are reaching those goals at a steady pace or not.  Wouldn't it be nice to be able to have an extra vehicle to help you meet goals quicker? 
This may be your solution.  If you have never heard of Ambit Energy let me give you some insight into the health and stability of the company.

Understand that it will take time.  It is not a get rich quick scheme.  
Have a game plan.  Write out your plan for building your business.  
Read books about those that are successful in that business.  
Understand your Why. What is it that you want to accomplish?  
Set written goals.  
Attend Company meetings and training calls.  Understand everything about your product.  
Share your opportunity every chance that  you get.  Have a strong plan for recruiting and train your down line. You want a strong down line.  So train them.  
Always be proactive in your business.  
Have a vision where you want to be and stay focused.

Ambit Way is Live!

Website is up and running!
It has been a crazy three days around here.  I published a New Website.  It is called http://www.ambitway.com.
You will have to go check it out.  There is a box on the site where you can leave your email address and a comment section.

All of this is relatively new to me.  I have only tried putting up a website from scratch twiced before.  If you decide to put up a website in the future I recommend Word Press.

I am sure that everyone is gearing up for Christmas.  I do suggest to you this one thing though.  Don't neglect your work.  

If you are a network marketer when you go out to all those parties meeting people ask them a little about what they do for a living and what kinds of things that they like to do in their spare time.  

Exchange some information get their name and number and give them a business card.  

So don't forget to take a small notebook or put the information in your cellphone... I recommend a small notebook where you can write down when and where you met them. Jot down their profession and what they like to do.

No and I mean no! Do not start a presentation about your business.  It is right in the middle of holiday season and if you are at a Christmas party that is the last thing that you are going to want to be hearing.

One thing that you can do during the holidays is research on your computer things that pertain to your company or people who work with you.  

I mean I am sure there are some top earners in your company.  Wouldn't it be nice to know what else they may be involved in.  For example in the company that I work for there are people who
 not only make a lot of money working here, they also make a lot of money doing other things.

One such individual writes books. Another started a women's group with the company.  They have people that are paid to give speeches.

So investigate be creative and see what you might be able to come up with to do to also make extra income.

You may be a writer, and that does not mean that you have to write a whole book.  You could write a short eBook and still make good money.  You may start setting up fundraisers to be used for training purposes.  You perhaps should be brushing up on your speech giving skills. 

And as always guys if you want passive income and don't know where to start. Start with me.  I run a business and have a growing downline.  My company is growing at a steady pace.  We are in 12 states now and working on going global one day.

It is the perfect opportunity to get involved in.  I hear people complain about their light bills all the time.  Not with my company after you get 15 customers your light bill is given free energy credits. That means it could very well be free energy for you not just for one month but for as long as you have 15 customers enrolled.  

If you worked steady gathering customers say 2 per week, that would only be about 2 months and you can then say goodbye to that light bill  or darn near it.  My light bill averages about $45.00 per month and it has been that way for 2 years now.

Online Business

Nobody knows how difficult that it can be to have an online business.  From coming up with a name for your business plus domain name to knowing what colors to use that are effective on your website. There are a thousand and one things that you have to learn before you ever start your business.  

But even saying all of that it will be well worth the time and energy that you have to spend to get it all going. Marketing is a tool that you have to get someone to look at your product or service.  The most valuable product that you will ever have in business is your knowledge.  

So remember this as you are beginning your business document everything that you learn.  Don't just do it , set it and forget it.  Everything that you are learning is valuable knowledge for you to learn and you should keep it for future reference.  

You never know when you might run into a bump in the road and forget how to do something that you set up as you were just starting out.  So document it.

Another thing to do is search the internet for information pertaining to your business, how to do this that or the other. When you find these gold nuggets of information be sure and star it save it on your bookmarks bar.  

Of all of the jobs that I have ever had the one to me that has been the most exciting is Online Business.  It is the most thought provoking.  You use much more discipline learning and spending time on what you need to learn.

Online business is the newest technological achievement of the 20th Century that people can dedicate their lives to and it just keeps paying them back over and over again.

It has been a blast blogging with you guys today.  And if you are in the market to do some online work remember document everything.  One thing that I neglected to mention is that this documentation may not come in handy just for your reference.  Knowledge is power in a way or so they say.  But also you may decide later after getting settled into your new business that you would like to share this information that you have learned with others  for a profit.  Knowledge is also very valuable.   You may have done it and set it but all of this documentation can be turned into a eBook that is valuable to others.  It would be a thing of great value that  you could sell to your customers.  So remember document, document, document everything when you are setting up your new business.

Think Smart!

Think Smart
I am sure that in order to get things done around your house that you oftentimes choose to delegate a few tasks to other household members.

At times this has to be done in your business also.  It just seems to make everything go so much smoother and efficiently.

The business that you operate is a living organism and it it's needs have got to be taken care of continually.  

Sometimes during these times it may occur to you that a task that you have been doing can be done another way that makes things run even more efficiently.  Or you may want to accomplish a large project and you are having difficulty understanding parts of it.

So on top of being a business owner who is dedicated to your business, you need to be on top of your business, finding new ways to make things efficient.

Now when you are finding these things out, if  a new method of doing something will save the business money that is great.  
  
But what if you don't know how to do it?  Never fear just as you use delegation to get others to work, you can get someone to learn about, set up and implement the new method for you.

So if you weigh the circumstances, one you don't know how to do it,  two, you are having difficulty learning it, or three, it is too time consuming for you, when you need to be doing other things.

Think smart!   If you know it will save you money and you know that you like it.  Simply pay someone to do it for you.  That way you can be working on other important tasks that need to be done.

Invent, Teach or Sell Something to Fulfill Basic Human Needs!

Listen with an open heart to this message and to what those around you are saying.
      
Look for needs that need to be fulfilled in people’s lives.  Ask and you shall receive.  Be a vessel of hope and inspiration to those around you.

Figure out what can be done by you to fulfill the needs of those around you.
      
An example of this could be that they need money.  You have several solutions for them. 

They can switch to Ambit Energy and save on their light bill or they can become consultants for Ambit Energy, earn their free energy and be saving money every month.  http://www.rebeccalamon.myambit.com

You could recommend to them the website of Kate Northrup.  http://www.katenorthrup.com  Kate is a lovely lady with many great strategies about how to go about handling your finances by changing the way that you think about bills, money, etc.

What if they are lonely?    You could recommend that they read some of my blogs.  You could share, “Ole Happy Days” with them.

Are they business oriented or are they looking to start a business and don’t know where to get started.  Share with them my business blog.  

What if they do not have any savings and they do not own a home, but they want a home?   You could recommend that they get an IDA account where they can start a savings plan with matching funds to save for a business or a home. 
You can also recommend Habitat for Humanity to them who will help pay for their home after they make their down payment.

What if they have physiological needs?  Perhaps they need something to help them get around better.  You could recommend a pharmacy or shop that specializes in making canes or wheelchairs.  They may not know where to go.  

If it is food that they need, recommend a local food bank or charity organization to them that will be able to help them.  I am sure that these organizations can help and they will point them in the right direction where they can get more help.

Along with needing food and shelter everyone needs access to good health care.  Make sure everyone that you know knows where the local health department is located.

Look and listen to those around you.  Sometimes it is hard to tell what types of needs that they are in need of the most.  Are they alone most of the time when you see them?  Perhaps they need companionship. They may have the need for love and belonging.  Include them in activities that are available.  Recommend a local church to them.  Tell them about health clubs in the area.  Make yourself accessible to them in case they would like to chat over the phone.

Perhaps their needs are psychological where they may be lacking in self esteem.  Are they moody or do they get upset easily at situations that are out of their control?  Or do they consistently say things that belittle themselves such as I am so stupid I should have known that. 

Regardless of the symptoms you can always look for ways to counteract or reduce the severity of the things that they are doing.  If they are beating their self up with this negative self-talk, you can say something that is positive.  Encourage them by recognizing all of their good qualities and praising them for their accomplishments.  You can also encourage them to seek some kind of counseling.

This takes me straight into Safety Needs.  We all have the need to feel safe.  We have Police, lifeguards, bouncers, and lots of other people which serve in a function to protect us. 

You may ask them if they have a plan of action in case of emergency.    By establishing a plan of action they are finding ways to insure that their safety needs are met.  In case of a fire, where do family members need to go? When they get outside where should they meet so that they are all assured that everyone made it out of the house safe and sound.  This designated place is their safety zone.

This article was brought to you today so that you can start identifying basic human needs that we all share.  By being aware of our needs we can work to insure that our needs are being met.  

By learning to identify your needs first you will be more experienced recognizing other people’s needs.

One thing that you can learn quickly is that everyone’s needs are not the same.  And rich or poor we all have all of these basic needs, which are Physiological, Safety, Love & Belonging, Esteem and Self Actualization. 

I touched upon a lot of these except for Self Actualization and I omitted that one on purpose, because that one is going to be a whole blog post dedicated for it only.  It is a very important need but it is also one that is a scarcity of getting met in a majority of people's lives.  

You may be the next inventor or teacher that comes up with something to help people meet these needs.

Time To Let You In On A Secret!

What You don't know about Social Media?  What Marketers, Promoters, Affiliates, and Internet Marketers are not telling you!   


Realization has finally dawned on the people who work in the Social Media and elsewhere in the internet world that you the consumer are not just the consumer of products or services anymore.  No  you are not just another buyer.  

Thanks to Social Media you the consumer are becoming more of the mainstream advertiser for internet businesses.  Thus you are now a greater asset to the internet business world.

Things to Make Your Life A Lot Easier!

 You could have a set schedule and stick to it in order to get things done productively everyday.  But that is more like the same old grime of working a 9 to 5 job.  You are trying to really get as far away from that drudgery as possible. Too many years of strict schedules with grueling deadlines is not what you want to be reminded of.

Now you are independent, living free from the shackles that you have had on all of these years.  So unlike a schedule you still need structure in your life so get into a flexible routine.  Your to do list (which I personally hate)  should be short and precise.  It should have a learning goal in mind.  

Examples: 

 1.  Learn how to setup email account today.
 2.  Company Growth tools needed that help me judge  how well my company is growing, advertising free  and paid etc
 3.  Affiliates, review products on Google see what people are already saying about it. 
 4.  Don't do a total budget everyday but do track your spending habits by looking at your bank account     everyday.  When you look at this account be thankful no matter what the amount is.  Celebrate actually give yourself a pat on the back either for having money in the bank or in appreciation of the things that you have.
(These are just examples of some topics that you will need to be learning about.)  

You do not have to have a large list.  What is important is that you set priorities and do the things that will help you reach your goals. That is the genius of having your own business.  You can take your time getting things done by fitting them into your routine not by scheduling your life around them.

Getting Ahead!

                                                                                    In today’s fast-paced world everybody wants to get ahead but not only do they want to get ahead, they want it now, immediately! If that describes you, don't be alarmed it describes most. This topic is designed with that in mind. So don't be surprised at how much more quickly you will be able to get ahead with some tips to follow. So let's get on with it.

It may sound far fetched but go ahead speculate about how much money you think you will make this next year. Now don't stop there add to that what you would prefer to make. That is your objective now. You have set your first goal.

Sit down and brainstorm. Ask yourself what is it that I have to do to reach that amount of growth. Write it all down. Seek out a successful person who is in the same business as you. Ask them about their growth and find out what it is that they do to ensure their growth. There are no dumb questions.

Ask yourself where can I learn more about these topics. Light bulb moment, what does that mean well you guessed it at the library it is a great place to start and the internet. Look it up, study it, and ask yourself how you can incorporate this information into a plan.

Organization is the most important part of running any business. Part of organization is that if you don't write it down it doesn't exist. You can't rely on pure brain power; you will forget it, so WRITE IT DOWN. Everyone has their own style of organization, find yours today. Make it a repetitive ritual in your life until it becomes second nature.


You have many responsibilities so that means you have to manage your time wisely. Time is a valuable commodity! In order to have more time you have to learn how to delegate. Teach those under you the skills that you have mastered. Take them under your wing and train them to do your job.

Happy employees will work harder even with added responsibilities. So don't be afraid to give them more responsibility; it makes them feel more important. Praise them for their work.

Upon answering the telephone always ask for the name and number of the party with whom you are speaking. Give them a choice. Ask them would you like a 9:00 or 10:00 o'clock appointment? That makes them feel in control of the situation. Always be courteous.

Rebecca Lamon is my name and my profession is that of an entrepreneur.  My specialty areas are network marketing, multilevel marketing, internet marketing, blogging and affiliate marketing.  Topics to be discussed in my blog are based upon these interests of mine.  I will try to not deviate too much from these discussions.
On this blog material will be presented from my personal viewpoint.  This blog is an extension of real life experiences and based on research done by me.  

All internet marketers had to start somewhere.  You 

can go around in circles indefinitely if you don't 

know where to start.  

There are so many things to consider when you begin your business.  When you want your website you have to go and choose a domain name. You have to decide who is going to be your web host.  You can choose from ready made websites that are free or ones that you have to pay for.  A few brave souls even venture into designing their very own websites and that in itself is a whole new ballgame. 

Personally myself I prefer the do it yourself website where you can actually incorporate other people's designs for things like capture pages etc for a low price.  

The design of your website is also affected by what it is that you will be promoting on your website.  So of course that is your number one step.  Decide what it is that you are going to promote.  If You are going to be promoting a lot of products you will want a design where you can make changes easily.

Before you get started do your homework. Get on the internet and do some serious research about everything.  This preliminary step will save you from so much heartache and pain.  Also this step will save you lots of money.  

Study and here is a biggy SHOP AROUND BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING FOR YOUR BUSINESS.  What one guy is selling for 500.00 dollars another may actually give to you for free.  Simply in return for some space on your website for his ads.  Look for deals and bargains.  Negotiate with the seller.  His prices are not written in stone.  Think !  He needs your business.  There is too much competition out there for him not to want to have you as a new customer.
